What We Do

Via strategic networking, education and public advocacy, NETWORK members enjoy the company of good friends and the fulfillment of being a part of something big. To meet the diverse needs of its members, and to speak to the issues of professional women and minorities around the globe, NETWORK sponsored activities and programs are designed to:

  1. Provide enrichment and encouragement to women and minorities as they uniquely deal with
    • the institutional barriers of racism and sexism
    • the economic, political and societal forces that impede personal and professional development
  2. Provide women and minorities with greater resources to aid in their career development;
  3. Encourage increased understanding, communication and collaboration among diverse women to leverage their collective presence.
  4. Develop leaders who will help to rebuild their communities
  5. Empower and enable women and minorities to be a visible force in the corporate, political and socioeconomic arenas
  6. Provide meaningful guidance to young women and men via education, role modeling and mentoring.
  7. Provide career advancement resources, growth strategies and personal and professional connections
  8. Sponsor social events and activities that are fun and entertaining for NETWORK members and friends.

An organization of accomplished, dedicated women all working towards branding THE NETWORK as a sisterhood of friends and colleagues and a system of purposeful service, NETWORK members are encouraged to serve their communities in comprehensive ways. Conferences, events and programs sponsored by THE NETWORK are vital tools for communicating the core values of THE NETWORK and connecting professional women and minorities across the country as they learn from each other, support each other, network, improve working conditions, and create lifelong connections.
